We invite you to the 3rd International Primary School Debate Tournament, which will be held in Zagreb on April 25, 2026.

Location: Zagreb. The exact venue will be announced later.

Date: April 25, 2026.

Competition format: KP format in accordance with the official rulebook.
The competition consists of two debates on a prepared motion and one debate on an ad hoc motion. The two best teams will advance to the final, which will be held on a prepared motion.

Prepared motion: Patriotism does more harm than good

Participation fee: €12 per person

Who can apply: Primary school students competing in teams of three.

Rules:

  • All participants must be enrolled in primary school education.
  • The tournament will be conducted in English.
  • Each team must provide one judge: N = 1.
  • The use of electronic devices is not allowed during the tournament. Any exception must be approved by the Chief Adjudicator.
  • During preparation for the ad hoc debate, students must prepare independently, without help from mentors or the internet.
